Also known as the ante, a forced bet is a wager by a player that is intended to get other players to fold before revealing their hand. One of the most common poker variations is the no pair. No pair is a poker hand that contains nothing but the highest card in the hand. Among the other poker hands are a full house, three of a kind, two pairs, a straight and a flush.
